Submit Field

A text field that submits on Enter — but not while an IME composition is active. Confirming a composition candidate with Enter (as when typing Japanese, Chinese, or Korean) must not also submit the field; only an Enter pressed outside composition submits. The last submitted value is announced in a status region.
